Dual Scouting “2 scouts sent out ahead so as to gather information about the enemy's

Position, Resources & Defending Strength.”

Most people scout with 1 scout , either just curious about a mist or an enemy

castle. Some players scout a province with dedication and scout all mists, hostiles

in that province.

In this small Tutorial we will discuss “Dual Scouting” and what it is. Basically it is

very simple.

1) You send a scout and you get a report. Either the scout went through and

you have the report you need.

You have the info and all relevant information to decide what to do.

Page 3: Dual Scouting

2) Sometimes , scouting fails. Your scout was unable to see inside and you get a

report like this.

Now what? Send more scouts?

Page 4: Dual Scouting

3) If the scout fails like above report, you can send a scout on ATTACK to the

same target. It will not give you the info you wanted ( look inside) but it will

give different information, namely, what is defending besides scouts.

Based on this info, you could now sent an Attack wave , defeating what is

defending in total, and then re-scout the target when all troops are gone.

FactSheet & Tips: Dual Scouting ( sending a scout in scout mode & attack mode )to same

target in order to get all info needed to make a decision. Dual Scouting is also referred to as “ double ping” or “dual ping” When scouting a province, and when the bot has loaded the results based

on the set criteria (misted/hostile/allied/neutral etc) you have the option now besides scouting , to send the scouts on Attack as well.

Sending scouts on Attack, gives defending info ( not how many, but what is defending)

Scouts are fast in scouting & attack mode. Use the Speed when there is a need for speed.

Do not send a lot of scouts to break the “defending scout wall” without checking the opponents TR and IF there is a Champion too.

A defending Champion can easily NULL the TR of incoming Scouts in addition to the own defending TR.

You can NOT send a Champion with your Scouts to overcome above hurdle.

When you send a scout without a knight, the report will give a scout score of 11.

Page 6: Dual Scouting

When you send a scout With a knight, it will show a scout score of 12.

Sending 1 scout is perceived by all players as an “necessary evil” , certainly when you are misted. Sending 100k or more just for scouting is considered rude or an hostile act for some alliances. 1 scout in dual ping mode gives you all the info you need , without upsetting other players too much.

Sending a wave of 30k scouts (or less) to a defending city ( on attack mode) can/will take out the traps before your Main Wave lands ( safe some troops)

Scouts can be useful in an emergency situation for sending quickly resources like food to a starving city.

Scout March Speed (Troop Specific) is nice to have in a TR , but it is better to have March Speed ( General Branch) . March Speed COVERS all transports & Marches ( re-assign, marching, transport, etc etc)

500% is the cap for all March Speed(s)

Above all have fun in the game, suggestion, comments always welcome

: Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes it

gives you and edge, or advantage, but it leaves also many people clueless. The

objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have

a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the

better the overall experience is for all players. More attacking and defending

means “lively” domains full of activity.
