LEOPARD LICKSLEOPARD LICKS• In each of its six Patriot League championship seasons, Lafayette has re-turned at least one starter at quarterback or tailback. Th e Leopards don’t have that luxury in 2007 with the graduation of All-Patriot League selections TB Jonathan Hurt, who was the PL Off ensive Player of the Year last fall, and QB Brad Maurer.

• For the fi rst time since 2003 there will be an open competition for the kicking spot, as Rick Ziska graduates after fi nishing his career just outside the top 10 in PL history in points scored by a kicker.

• Lafayette advanced to the Division I-FCS playoff s last year, but fell to Mas-sachusetts in the fi rst round.

KEY STATKEY STAT• Lafayette will be trying to join Lehigh as the only schools to win at least a share of four consecutive Patriot League titles in 2007.
