In your project, you will need to decide on a strand within the theme ‘Freedom’ to develop. This ‘Ideas’ board should give you some possible strands to develop, but make sure you also do your own research.

Spring 2007 Half-Term HomeworkOver the half-term break you are expected to complete the following assignments:

TASK 1Create an ‘Ideas’ board, presenting 8-10 images linked to the theme ‘Freedom’. Label each image with a sub-title that links in with the theme (I.e ‘personal expression’) and remember to write down the title of the image and name of the photographer.

TASK 2Visit a photographic exhibition in London and:

a) In the gallery, make drawings/sketches of 2 art works that particularly interest you and are relevant to the theme. Make a detailed analysis of them using the ‘Form, Process, Content’ structure discussed in lessons.

b) Collect any images, texts, etc.. That might be useful to refer to at a later date.
