How do I get started?• Go to www.twitter.com

• Fill in the boxes to sign up for an account.

• Now you have a Twitter account!

Now, What?• Create a Twub for your

classsroom.

• Go to Twubs.com

• Click “Register Your Hashtag.”

Page 4: Twubsfor classrooms

• Type a unique (but small) term to identify your classroom.

• Check to make sure no one else has used that hashtag.

• Register your unique hashtag to create your Twub.

• Sign in using your Twitter account.

• DON’T fill in the boxes.

• Instead, click “Twitter login.”

• “Authorize Ap” the first time you sign in.

Sign in to Twubs!

• You should see the title of your Twubhere—the hashtagyou registered.

You have your own Twub!

• Give students the URL (web address) of your classroom Twub.

• Students register for a Twitter account, and log in to classroom Twub with their Twitter accounts.

• Then, they simply type in box, and click “Send Tweet.”

• Display classroom Twub on LCD projector to show students’ tweets in real time!
