“Virtually EVERY college graduate

will be supervising someone at some

point in their career…”

Page 3: Strengths-Based Leadership in College

A noun that officially means, “The

person who leads or commands a

group, organization, or country.”

Page 4: Strengths-Based Leadership in College

Leaders influence their followers

in order to achieve their vision or

enact changes. There are three

qualities that successful leaders

typically possess.

Page 6: Strengths-Based Leadership in College

#1a drive to

execute

Page 7: Strengths-Based Leadership in College

Leaders have drive, or motivation, to see

their visions through to the end.

ability

to relate

Page 9: Strengths-Based Leadership in College

Leaders make every attempt to relate to

their followers. People will not follow

someone (for long) if they feel the leader

does not care about them.

#3integrity

Page 11: Strengths-Based Leadership in College

Leaders need to lead with integrity and gain the full

trust of their followers. Lose the trust of your

followers, and you will no longer be a leader.

So, what is the lesson?

You cannot do everything alone.

You only have a few

Strengths.

Page 19: Strengths-Based Leadership in College

who have the Strengths that you

need to in order to achieve your

vision.

Page 20: Strengths-Based Leadership in College
