Rich ManThere was a man who liked money very much. He worked all of his life and

wanted to save all of his money for his own future. He loved money more than just about anything.

Even, just before he died, he said to his wife, "Now listen, when I die, I want you to take all my money and place it in the casket with me. I wanna take my money to the afterlife." So, he asked his wife to promise him with all her heart.

Well, one day, he really died. Then, he was stretched out in the casket. The wife was sitting there in black clothes next to her closest friend. When they finished the ceremony, just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said "Wait just a minute!“ She had a box in her hands. She came over with the box and placed it in the casket. After that the undertakers locked the casket down and rolled it away. Not long after that, her friend said, "I hope you were not crazy enough to put all that money in the casket.“ The wife turned to her friend and replied, "Yes, because I have promised." Then, she continued, "I can't lie. I promised him that I was going to put that money in that casket with him." Feeling shocked, her friend said, "You mean that you have put every cent of his money in the casket with him?" Then the wife answered, "Surely I did. I got it all together, put all the money into my account and I just wrote him a check."

Remember!

Interestingly, spoof text has focused in the aesthetics of interaction, lighter and more entertaining. Entertaining values in the spoof text summarized in unexpected paragraph, usually located at the end of the text, in the form of anomalous language which is never heard a listener or maybe just a simple joke on tickling matters around the reader.

The thing to note that a spoof is successful, when the storyteller can make the audience laugh. Therefore, spoof is not intended to a group with different language orientations.

ExercisesFluffy Bunny Rabbit

After a long day at the office, Chris came home one day and found his dog with the neighbour’s pet rabbit in his mouth. The rabbit was obviously dead. Chris panicked!

“If my neighbours find out my dog killed their bunny, they’ll hate me forever,” he thought.  So he took the dirty, chewed up rabbit into the house, gave it a bath and blow-dried its fur. Chris knew his neighbours kept their backdoor open during the summer, so he sneaked inside and put the bunny back into the cage, hoping his neighbours would think it died of natural causes.

A couple of days later Chris and his neighbour saw each other outside. “Did you hear that Fluffy die?” the neighbour asked. “Oh. Uhmm... Sorry to hear that. What happened?” Chris mumbled.

The neighbor replied, “We just found him dead in his cage one day. But the strange thing is that the day after we buried him, we went out to dinner and someone must have dug him up, gave him a bath and put him back into the cage!”
