INDONESIA 4. Research Backgroud Bengkulu province has 435,116 hectares plantation area in 2010. Growth of oil palm plantation area from 166.627 hectares in2009 to 190.787 hectares in 2010. Most of the oil palmplantation in Bengkulu owned by private estates. Muko-Muko Regency is one of the main locations of oil palmplantations in the province of Bengkulu.
