Types of living things, animals, plants, bacteria, fungi and algae
THERE ARE THREE VITAL FUNCTIONS

NUTRITION
Nutrition means to obtain nutrients from the environment and tansform them into energy
Plants produce their own throw photosinthesis
Animals feed on other living things they can be carnivores, herbivores and omnivores
Fungi and bacteria feed on the remains ofdead living things
REPRODUCTION
Means to make new living things
It can be sexual or asexual reproduction

INTERACTION
Ineraction means toreact the changes of the environment, there is a change and there is a reaction
Stimulus is the change andthe response is thereaction
Questions:
Are computers living things?
No because they are not born ,do not grow, do not reproduce and do not die
What is the difference between sea stars and humans in the way they reproduce?
That sea stars are asexual and humans are sexual
The cells
plant cellanimal cell
They are the smallest part inwhich living things are divided
NUCLEUS
They control thefuncion of thecell. It is like thetown hall of acity.
Cell membrane
It controls what enters and leaves the cell . It is like a group of guards
vacuoles
It contains water and mineralsfor the cell. They are like reservoirsin a city
CYTOPLASM
It is a substance were all the parts of the cell float around. It is like the atmosphere of a city.
CELL WALL
It is what protects the cell and gives it its shape. It is liike the wall of the city
CHLOROPLASTS
They contain chlorophyll needed during photosynthesis. They are like parks in a city.
