INTRODUCTION

• Office wear refers to the clothing that employees wear to workplace.• Muslimah defines as a Muslim woman.• In Muslimah corporate office wear, there are two aspects that require considerations:

- Behaviour- Dressing

• As a corporate Muslimah, we should dress to be respected and behave like one.

PROPER AND ELEGANT WAYS TO DRESS AS A MUSLIMAH

• Coat or blazer- Make sure the coat or blazer is 2”inch longer than the innerwear.- Choose dark colours such as dark blue, black or brown to project professionalism

• Long pants/skirt- Also helps to project the image of a corporate Muslimah.- Choose designs which are not too bold.

• Baju Kurung- Wear a comfortable baju kurung which do not limit your movements.- Do not wear baju kurung which is too tight or revealing.

• Shoes- The most appropriate shoes is dark court shoe preferably in black

black colour.- Choose a shoe with a front or black straps with 1.5” inch heels in

heels in maximum.

• Hijab- Wear a comfortable hijab.- The most appropriate hijab is plain, make sure your hijabmatch your outfit and are not too flashy.

• Accessories- When it comes to accessories, less is more. - Avoid over-accessorizing and ensure your jewellery match your outfit,

GUIDELINES• Dress everyday by changing the colours, pattern and fabric material. But remember, do not

overdress. • When climbing up and down the stairs, you should position your feet at 45 degrees in each

step. • Avoid handshakes and prolonged eye contact with men.• Always use the right hand to pass or accept anything. To point to a person , close the right

hand into a fist with the thumb on top and then point it to a subject.• When sitting down, cross your leg and point it down. You should not cross your leg when

there's someone older or superior than you, so crossing your leg depends on position and seniority.
