What is the mobile learning?

M-learning or mobile learning is defined as "learning across multiple contexts, through social and content interactions,

using personal electronic devices. 

Mobile learning makes students activate during lecture, take part in the lecture at home-in real time, further learning activities anywhere, anythime

Mobile learning is more than just learning delivered and supported by handled and mobile technologies. It is learning that is both formal and informal, context aware, and authentic for the learner.

M-learning brings strong portability by replacing books and notes with small devices, filled with tailored learning contents.

 

It is a form of E-learning.

M-learners can use mobile device for

educational purposes in anytime and

anywhere

M-learning enhances collaborative works among students through communication applications, interactive displays, and

video features

Also, mobile learning makes courses attractive and can be used as a ‘hook’ to re-engage disaffected youth.

 

It decreases training costs.
