I-MIX Summer ProgramQ: What is the Interactive Marketing Immersion Xperience (I-MIX)?A: I-MIX is a week-long intensive marketing program in which participants will be immersed in seminars and projects that focus on interactive marketing.Q: When does I-MIX take place?A: I-MIX 2014 will be held from August 10-14.Q: Where is I-MIX held?A: The 2014 program will take place in Los Angeles, California.Q: Where will students stay?A: Selected candidates will be housed locally near the host company's office.Q: Who is eligible to apply?A: Students with a demonstrated interest in marketing and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) are eligible to apply.Q: How much does I-MIX cost?A: The program fee of $300 is required upon acceptance into the program. Q: When is the deadline?A: Applications are due by May 19th.

I-MAX Summer ProgramQ: What is the Interactive Marketing Analytics Xperience (I-MAX)?A: I-MAX is a week-long intensive program in which college students will be immersed in seminars that focus on big data and marketing analytics. It is designed to prepare students for a career in a marketing field that is increasingly being driven by data.Q: When does I-MAX take place?A: I-MAX will be held from June 1-5, 2014.Q: Where is I-MAX held?A: The 2014 program will take place in New York, NY.Q: Where will students stay?A: Selected candidates will be housed locally near the host company's office.Q: Who is eligible to apply?A: Rising juniors and seniors earning a degree in a quantitative field or related major with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) are eligible and encouraged to apply.Q: How much does I-MAX cost?A: The program fee of $300 is required upon acceptance into the program. Q: When is the deadline?A: Applications are due April 1, 2014.

Marketing InternshipsWhat is the Marketing EDGE Internship Program?The Marketing EDGE Internship Program is a unique 10-week internship program providing rising juniors and seniors with the opportunity to acquire valuable work experience with leading companies in the marketing field.When does the program begin and end?The program begins with the Interactive Marketing Analytics Xperience (I-MAX) on Sunday, June 1, 2014 and ends on Friday, August 8, 2014 (Paid internship begins with participating company on Monday, June 9).Who is eligible to participate?The program is open to undergraduate rising juniors and seniors nationwide attending accredited four-year colleges/universities.What educational background do I need to apply?Individuals of all academic backgrounds who have a demonstrated interest in marketing are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates have majored in subjects such as Advertising, Communications, Economics, Engineering, English, Marketing, Mathematics and Psychology. We require a minimum 3.0 grade point average.Where are the internships located?Internships will be offered nationwide, and locations vary each year.

Marketing InternshipsIs education provided?As a Marketing EDGE intern, you will participate in a highly selective one-week intensive marketing program, I-MAX. What kind of projects can interns work on?Interns are given the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects to support marketing teams, for example, conducting competitive market research, maintaining company website and social media outlets, supporting search engine optimization strategies, and collecting and analyzing data.When do I find out which company I’ll be working for?If selected to interview, you will first have a phone screen with Marketing EDGE. If you are chosen for a final round of interviews, Marketing EDGE will discuss the participating company with you prior to your interview with them. You will be matched based on your skill set and preferences.Will the company pay for my travel and housing expenses?No. Interns will be matched with a company nearest to their location choice; there is no travel or housing assistance provided in this program.What is the salary range for the program?All internships are paid. Each participating company will set their own hourly pay

Marketing InternshipsJob Description As an Intern, you will be supporting cutting-edge integrated marketing strategies, while learning fundamental marketing skills. You will be working in an incredibly fast moving business, and have the opportunity to make valuable contributions. • Your responsibilities may include:• Provide competitive research and analysis support.• Help with collection and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative data from client

marketing campaigns.• Assist with advertising and marketing promotional activities including social media,

mobile, mail, e-mail, web, telemarketing, and print.• Assist with search engine optimization strategies.• Work with various databases.• Draft client communications, content for blogs, website, and social media

Next Generation LeadersWhat is Next Generation Leaders?Next Generation Leaders is a unique twelve-month paid marketing rotation program providing recent college graduates with the opportunity to acquire valuable work experience and gain exceptional training in multi-channel direct and interactive marketing.What is a rotation?A rotation usually consists of four to six months spent at a sponsor company. During a rotation, associates work on meaningful projects and are supervised and mentored by top executives. What kind of projects do associates work on?Associates are given the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including, but not limited to new business pitches, user experience analysis, market research, project coordination, event planning and client interaction. Who are the sponsor companies?Sponsor companies for the 2014-2015 program are Epsilon and Paradysz in New York, and Javelin and hawkeye in Dallas, Texas.Where are sponsor companies located?This year the program is located in New York and Denver.Do I have to physically move each time I start a new rotation?No. Each sponsor is located within a commutable geographic area.

Next Generation LeadersWho is eligible to participate?Seniors currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university. Individuals with immediate family members employed at sponsoring companies, Marketing EDGE or the DMA are not eligible to participate.What educational background do I need to apply?Individuals of all academic backgrounds who have a demonstrated interest in marketing are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates have majored in subjects such as Advertising, Communications, Economics, Engineering, English, Marketing, Mathematics and Psychology. We require a minimum 3.0 grade point average. What is the salary range for the program?Next Generation Leaders provides competitive regional salaries for the program. Your salary will depend on the location of the rotation. What kinds of benefits are available for participants in the program?In addition to a market competitive salary, Associates are offered an excellent benefits package. When does the program begin and end?The 2014-2015 program will begin the first week of September, following Labor Day, and will end on Friday, August 28, 2015.

Marketing ScholarshipsMarketing EDGE is able to award specialized scholarships to deserving part-time and full-time students at both the graduate and undergraduate levelsTo Apply for a Scholarship• Complete the Application Form.• Submit the following documents:

– An Official Transcript– Resume (required for graduate-level scholarships)

Eligibility Requirements• Reside in the U.S. as a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.• Currently be enrolled in an accredited 4-year institution.• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).Show a commitment to pursuing a career in marketing (i.e., applicants should have taken two or more courses focused on: direct marketing, interactive marketing, email marketing, electronic marketing, mobile marketing, social marketing, business to business marketing, not-for-profit marketing, database marketing, customer relationship management or integrated marketing communications).

The deadline for submitting applications is May 9, 2014.
