Logo philosophy• constructionism: „learning by making“, not only „learning by

doing“– technology as „informational medium“ as well as „constructional

medium“– and: talking about products and processes!– test of reality

• learner as subject in the learning process• discovery learning in microworlds• using body knowledge• „computer as tutee“ (not as tutor)• learning from errors („debugging“)

– immediate „unemotional“ feedback by the computer– teacher is an authentic co-learner

• Assumption: children can program at very young ages and can do much more than we believe

– Give them the tools and the opportunity!
