Workshop Scenario:

A new university is being created. You have been tasked to convene a team of university executives to develop the guiding principles.

Breakout activity:

Get in groups of 4 or 5. Each person should represent a different function at the Executive level (e.g., Executive Vice-President of Operations, Executive Vice-President of Admissions, etc.). Develop a set of guiding principles.

Groups will be selected to present.• What functions did your group represent?• What did you find helpful, difficult about choosing guiding principles?• What were your guiding principles?• How did you incorporate sustainability?
