History of science fiction
What is it?
Science fiction is a type of genre under fiction that with
imaginative, futuristic settings, with advanced technology, along
with time travel or even light travel or going into parallel
universes.
Science fiction is also one of the worlds top genre for films so
there is still a high demand for it. Representation is important in
sci-fi as it helps the media write postitively about the films this
makes people want watch this. This has certainly become successful
overall in sci-fi as it is one of the worlds top genres.
First science fiction film
The first science fiction movie was in 1902. It was a black and
white film with no sound at all! The title was A trip to the Moon
directed by a French man Georges Mli. It was approximately 10:28
seconds long. It was about a group of astronomers who travelled to
the moon in a cannon capsule and then landed on the moon, explored
its surface, escape from a bunch of lunatics and return back to
earth. The cast were a group of French theatre performers.
