Teaching English in overseas is abounding. For actual, in advance cities like Guangzhou, Beijing, and Shanghai, various types of job profiles are offered to native English speakers. A person who has excellent command over English lingua can easily get high profile job in China.
Foreigner teachers enjoy more credibility and parents love to interact with them. Life in China is very exciting and different, but residing in an area of international universities is easy to fall into the mistake of living alone with foreigners and slip the chance of meeting those who are supposed to know from the starting. So, blending Mandarin and English language with new friends is a great idea of learning Mandarin in an environment where you have to adjust with foreigners.
The rapid growth of Teaching in China is developing classrooms run by young foreigners who are academically qualified to teach. Apart from this, approximately, 18,000 foreign experts annually come to China via visas to work for education sector; other tourists that migrate China are students. The best part is that Chinese schools offer high wages to those who are working in education sector, especially as English tutors.
China is investing, year after year, a considerable amount of money in getting all of its schools to learn English. This means that there are many opportunities that are being generated to get a job as an English teacher. Their standards are not as high as those in Taiwan that require each teacher to be a native English speaker, or like those in South Korea where the entry of foreigners who are aiming to become teachers is being restricted.
China is an overpopulated country with great contrasts. These two evidences are also palpable when we speak of education in general. It is very common to find illiterate people especially in remote areas, the most disadvantaged classes or the older ones. But, finding young people who know several languages is not very rare nowadays, youth are migrating towards foreign countries to study abroad and obtain master’s degrees.
