Global Leadership SeriesProgram Description

Participants will develop their skills and traits in global leadership before entering their first professional career in an organization.

Global Leadership Series Program Classroom Format

12 Week Course

Interactive Classroom Setting

Weekly behavioral lessons to further develop participants global leadership skills.

Group Reflection Project

Global Leadership Series Program Curriculum

Course Textbook:Gundling, E., Hogan T., & Cvitkovich K. (2011). What is global leadership? 10 key behaviors that define great global leaders. Boston, MA: Intercultural Press.

Additional article readings and research will be incorporated to develop the global leadership skills of participants.

Seeing Differences Cultural Self-Awareness

Participants will learn how their leadership practices are shaped by the environment around them.

“Helicopter view”- the ability to view their own thoughts and ideas from an objective distance.

Seeing Differences Inviting the Unexpected

Participants will learn the importance of being open to new information and experiences.

Participants will learn the importance of building strong, trusting relationships to be successful in a global context.
