All of these fonts are boxy, but have a rounded bubbly element to them. They also stand out against the background, therefore catching the audiences attention. All of the fonts are very loud, suggesting that the film is out of the ordinary, engaging the audience to see what different about the film.

I would use any fonts similar to these, as they are too loud for the type of trailer I’m making. Most of these fonts are for films with more action in them, therefore they need to express this through the typography.

These fonts are all very simple and boxy. This creates a calm tone towards the audience. However The Hunger Games, and The Maze Runner, both use shading to give more depth to the font. This shows that there could be some action involved and that the film is going to be a bit gritty in terms of context. Whereas Gravity and Ex Machina are plain white, creating no expectations for the film as the white is almost like a clean slate. Apart from the audience can expect a professional film, and white looks sophisticated. I think for my film I would use font similar to The Maze Runner and Gravity, as its simplistic and isn’t too loud or busy.
