We are incredibly excited to bring

you the first NLC of the new

conference cycle and it promises

to be the best. No false modesty,

this conference is going to rock

your socks off!

We have been working

collectively to make sure this is

the most engaging, inspiring and

exciting conference for you guys,

especially for newbies!

NLC is where it all begins, where you have the chance to connect with AIESEC, to

understand why we put so much into this organisation, how we get so much out of it

and our place and roles within AIESEC Nigeria. Just look at our conference theme this

year, “Creating a Culture of Excellence in Leaders.” This explains a lot and I hope you

take charge of your leadership drive by attending this nourished conference.

Every year, AIESEC in Nigeria holds a

series of conferences to explore and

develop members leadership potential.

We now bring you one of the most

important national conference of the

year – NATIONAL LEAD

CONFERENCE 2015. LEAD

conference 2015 is one of the most

important national conferences of

AIESEC In Nigeria held annually

between May/June.

It is placed at the juncture between predecessors and successors, and aims at transferring

skills, knowledge, and attitudes about leadership.

AIESEC in Nigeria would be holding it’s National Leadership Conference this year in

Benin City, Edo State, from 29th May 2015 to 4th June 2015 with the theme “Creating a

Culture of Excellence in Leaders”. We are expecting a total number of 300 delegates

from the 14 universities in Nigeria and also from neighboring entities.

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

o Building strong visionary and Entrepreneurial Leaders..

o To Build Interpersonal skills, self-confidence and sense of responsibility among

young Nigerians.

o To Develop and Propagate improved business methods, practices and ideas

practically.

Federal Republic of Nigeria, comprises

of 36 states and it’s Federal Capital

Territory is Abuja. Nigeria is located

in West Africa. Nigeria has been the site of

numerous kingdoms and tribal states

spanning over a millennium.

Nigeria is often referred to as the

"Giant of Africa", owing to its large

population and economy. With

approximately 174 million

inhabitants, Nigeria is the most

populous country in Africa and

the seventh most populous country in

the world.

Nigeria has the largest movie and music

industry in Africa with top recognition

from experts abroad. Nigeria is also

blessed with mineral resources which has

been our major source of income through

exportation.

popularly known as IGUN

Benin city is also the

home of one of the

oldest sustained

monarchies in the

world. Various

festivals are held in

Benin city yearly to

celebrate various

historic occasions

and seasons. Igue

festival is the most

popular of the

festivals where the

Oba celebrates the

history and culture of

his people and

blesses the land and

the people. It is

celebrated at a time

between Christmas

and New Year.

The Nigeria Youth to Business Forum is committed to

inspire, engage and act to address

Nigerian socioeconomic issues with a global context by

engaging youth, business, and political, academic and

other leaders of society. No longer can problems be

solved alone. Both businesses and youth need to play a

role in collaborating to solve some of Nigeria’s biggest

socioeconomic issues that have global context.

The event, which would include a keynote speech,

workshops, discussion panels and many more innovative

spaces. It is compulsory to register at: bit.ly/nigeriay2b2015

so we can make adequate preparation for you. The

deadline for registration is Monday May 25th 2015.

Delegates are expected to pay a sum of 5000 naira only upon

confirmation from their LCPs or LODs. International delegates

are to also pay the same amount upon Confirmation by the

MC or LOD responsible for their delegates. All payments are to

be made via the LOD/LCPs/Mc to AIESEC Benin account:

green in the spread sheet and send back to me. Delegate
