A WORD FROM THE CCPIt is my pleasure to welcome you all to AFROXLDS 2016, holding in our beautiful country, COTE D'IVOIRE. The excitement from AIESECers all over Africa and beyond wishing to attend this great conference has been a key motivating force for us, it is what has been propelling us for the past Months to give our very best in putting together the very best of awesome experiences for this great conference.
SOMETHING BIG IS GOING TO HAPPEN: We in the CC team have used this phrase over and over again and we invite you to share in the possibility of great leadership impact. It is time to wake the sleeping giants in this continent and enforce the change we so much need. The African exchange and leadership development seminar is a 6-day annual regional conference of AIESEC in Africa, the largest of its kind. The 2016 edition of the conference is scheduled to hold between 5th of April to 11th of April in COTE D'IVOIRE.
It will bring together 250 of AIESEC’s leadership from over 20 African countries and beyond and will also grace the participation from Corporate Partners, Government representatives, Media, alumni, University Students and the general public.

BEFORE YOU TRAVEL (PREPARATION INFORMATIONS)
TRAVEL DOCUMENTSPASSPORT AND ID: Before coming for the conference, ensure you have your INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT and other forms of identi�cation like your national ID card.
VISA : For AIESECers from countries within West Africa Seychelles Tunisia morocco, you don't need a visa to enter CÔTE D'IVOIRE. For other countries, you can kindly con�rm your visa entry status with your embassy: whether you can apply on arrival, by referral and other information.
Please note that countries outside Africa do need a visa. For Visa application and information, kindly visit: www.snedai.com
VACCINATION/IMMUNIZATION: For those travelling to COTE D'IVOIRE, a yellow fever immunization certi�cate is REQUIRED. The immunization is valid for 10 years and the vaccination card is to be presented at the airport on arrival. You can acquire the yellow fever certi�cate in your country or on arrival for a stipulated fee.
But it is advisable you acquire it before arrival. Yellow fever, meningitis and typhoid
Due to the tropical setting of Cote d'Ivoire, the risk of getting infected by malaria is high. It is therefore advised that you take necessary precautions against mosquito bites such as getting a mosquito net, taking anti-malaria dosages before and during your stay and be careful with food and water consumption to avoid intestinal disorder.
TRAVEL/HEALTH INSURANCE : It is mandatory that you get a travel/health insurance before beginning your journey to COTE D'IVOIRE. Delegates are to present their travel/Health insurance at check-in. Health insurance is provided by the cc at a feeThe validity and type of travel/health insurances depends on your country. Please kindly consult with the respective COTE D’IVOIRE embassy in your respective country to be guided effectively. Ensure you are CLEAR about the nature of your insurance!

OPENING CEREMONY01
This ceremony will mark the of�cial opening of the conference. It will be an opportunity to present the Ivory Coast in Africa and the rest of the world.
It will take place in the form of key-notes around the following topic: the action of youth in sustainable development of Africa.
ARE EXPECTED: Ministries, AFROXLDS partners, members of the Board of Advisors, the Ivorian youth, media, foreign delegations, international organizations.

This day aims to celebrate cultural diversity through exhibitions and expositions at which each participating country is to demonstrate the greatness of their cultural heritage.
ARE EXPECTED: Embassies of the participating countries, the ministry of culture, youth and the Ivorian delegations.

The forum aims to bring together Africa youth, opinion leaders, experts and players in the professional world to discuss different themes in order to generate ideas and concrete actions for the development of Africa.

This night is an opportunity to present the festive world of CÔTE D'IVOIRE to Africa and other delegation. It is inspired by the concept of "Abidjan by night" (open space relaxation).
In CÔTE D'IVOIRE we work hard, we play hard. Concert, food, drinks, dance... Welcome to the biggest party of the conference.

This dinner marks the end of the conference, it will be an opportunity to celebrate excellence in performance term by rewarding countries that have distinguished themselves through their innovations, their growth in internship opportunity, the quality of experiences offered to young people, the impact of their projects and opportunities.
