• The company that we would wish to distribute our product would have to be a Big Hollywood conglomerate company, examples of these would be something like 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros or Paramount, and all of these have a large success in the industry and always do well in distributing their products.

• This is largely because our product is more of a common type of horror that is known as physiological, making our product around this was best because it gives us the upper hand over other subgenres of horror, since ours is better versed and that the distribution company know how to release and sustain films in the market place, they go through the stages of production, distribution and exhibition and these are most effective when ‘vertically integrated’.

• With the distribution company chosen being so large, our product would reach to a potential global product, this is because of the popularity of the subgenre and with the help of the distribution company. For example we would choose Warner Bros, as a big conglomerate they own many other companies down the line of production, distribution and consumption, this means it can control every aspect of the films whereabouts.

• Warner Bros has also distributed many other films for example Horrible Bosses 2, Annabelle, Focus and The Intern, these films are all recognised all over the world thanks to Warner Bros distribution for the products. Considering the distribution company that we chose for our product was Warner Bros, it benefits our product that they are horizontally integrated because having more to the company gives our product the leverage to succeed, since they’d have the accessibility to launching other things rather than just the film.
