• For this evaluation question I am going talking about how different social groups are represented in our media production and how they are used in other ones like ours. Social groups usually allow the audience to connect with the piece they are watching making them comfortable with the piece overall.

Lights out

• When coming up with the idea of our two minute sequence we had all looked online for inspiration and all came across this short production that we all like and found interesting. Our production is like this as they are both set in a house of a young adult who seems to be in university or higher education. Again they are similar as both the antagonist are young girls that only appear in the darkness when the lights are turned off.

• Both our protagonist are wearing their pyjamas to show that they are going to bed and living in what looks like a middle class university house meaning she is a student.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

• Another inspiration we had for our sequence was Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street played by Robert Englund. Both Lucy and Freddy are there to take and want cause harm to teenagers and young people in their dreams.
