The penalty shot

Once upon a time there was a boy named Matthew he was a very good hockey player. He loved scoring goals he always got lots of break a ways. All of his team mates depended on him to win the game. During one game he hurt his leg. The coach said ,”okay guys time to pick up the pace”. The team fought to keep the lead and they did. Matthew healed up and was ready for the next game .

During the next game Matthew scored five goals which made them win five nothing. All the team mates cheered. They went out to celebrate the victory .

The party was crazy but every one was so tired so all they did was sit there and watch movies. After the party they all went home to sleep and get ready for the next game

This is the day of the state championships the team is going against the best team in the league. They played a great game the score is tied 3 to 3 Matthew skates up the ice on a break away then one of the other teams players throws there hockey stick and trips Matthew the ref puts his hand up and calls for a penalty shot

Hockey scouts are people that watch the game and rate how good the players are. If you are a really good hockey player you could go all the way to the nhl

Matthew sits at the center dot to think of what kind of shot he will make the ref blows the whistle and away he goes Matthew goes in and deeks the goalie Right out Matthew shoots and the puck goes top shelf Matthew won the game Every one cheers and says there good byes until next year
