INTRODUCTION & HISTORY

OF THE COMPANY Arun Icecream was established in the year 1970

under the name M/s.CHANDRAMOHAN & CO., for

the manufacture and sale of Ice Creams and Milk

and Dairy based Products .

The business grew rapidly and the Firm's turnover

increased from Rs.1.00 lakh in 1970 to Rs.29.52

lakhs in the year 1986.

In 1987, Mr. R.G. CHANDRAMOGAN allowed the

Company to register the Brand Name "ARUN

Icecream"

The Company has changed its Name to HATSUN

MILK FOOD PRIVATE LIMITED and Certificate to

this effect was obtained from the Registrar of

Companies, Tamil Nadu, Madras on 07.08.95 and

subsequently converted into Public Limited

FOUNDER OF ARUN-

ICECREAM

R. G. Chandramogan is the chairman and managing director of Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, which is the manufacturer of branded milk and ice cream and the largest private dairy in India.

His family sold some property for 13,000

rupees with which he started RG

Chandramogan & Co in 1970.

In 1986, RG Chandramogan & Co the firm was

established as ‘Hatsun Agro Products Ltd’.

His son C. Sathyan has been named executive

director of Hatson Agro since 2002

He is one of the first generation of

entrepreneurs from Sivakasi.

He is one among the 41 Indian Billionaires
