Camerawork• A lot of camerawork/ angles used in the

documentary was to make meatloaf come across well and in power, example of this being when

meatloaf is filmed standing over the mixing studio filmed from a low angle. At one point in the

documentary there is a meeting taking place, a tracking shot is used to show this so the audience can feel involved within the meeting, another shot also shows the camera sat on the table to provide a

similar feeling.

• The documentary shows a whole variety of artistic angles when filming the music video and the behind

the scenes.

• The use of over the shoulder shots, rule of thirds & medium close ups are present throughout the

documentary.

Mise-En-Scene

Meatloaf always appears high up when being interviewed, even when he is sat down. The documentary is trying to show Meatloaf in a

good and positive light. The Documentary used chroma key (Green Screen) often to show Meatloaf even when he's not being

interviewed. This tied in with archive material as it also shown album covers and other

relevant rock and roll ideas/images.

Sound

• Meatloaf's music was played throughout the documentary as it was relevant and maybe to try and boost sales off the back off the documentary.

• There was a voice of god narration used throughout.

Editing• The interviewers questions were cut out by the editor and the

audience just seen the responses, this could have been done to make it seem the audience were being spoken to directly.

• Green screen off record company logo was used when interviewing a member of staff from that particular record company, also studio equipment such as sound racks, mixing desks were used.

• There was an also montage like series of newspaper or magazine clippings of images and chart positions etc.

Archive Material• A whole variety of archive material

was used during the documentary including award ceremony interviews like the Brit awards and the Grammy's.

• Music videos were also used and the production of these videos.

• Also used were newspaper cuttings, album covers, images of Meatloaf.

Graphics

Text overlays were used to identify who is being interviewed with a basic font style.
