This Marie Claire cover is aimed at a younger generation. We can tell this by the way that Beyoncé is dressed and the wording used on this cover ‘Sexy hair, Look Fabulous’. Beyoncé is also an icon for youth and fashion. The colour of the red writing tells us that it has passion and excitement.

Good Housekeeping is aimed at an older female generation. This show us by the older women that are featured in this magazine ‘Oprah Winfrey’ and wording used ‘Lifesaving updates’. Also things featured on this magazine like baking tips and ‘20 brilliant decorating ideas’. The colour of the text is pink and white which are more soft colours which show that the magazine has calm features.
