We know that Columbus discovered America,

but Americo Vespuccio was the first who

discovered that it wasn´t India but the American Continent.

He appeared in a German book like the discoverer of America. America took its name from Americo Vespuccio.

IT IS SAID THAT VIKINGS ARRIVED IN AMERICA 400 YEARS BEFORE COLOMBUS AND AMERICO.
