Title always one or two words, unique font and always relates to the genre of the magazine type if its pop rock or anything else. It also might tell you where it stands in the market like if it says rocks best magazine for instance.

The home-style fits the music genre which is alternative, all the colours and the layout of the page support the type

Bar code and price like every magazine cover

Consistent fonts are used throughout

There is text all over the page but non over the picture’s face

Use of puns and other engaging techniques such as hypothetical questions used on front cover

The main cover line is the second biggest text on the screen it is the highlight of the magazine and always features artists

Cover lines are used have a brief description below them describing what they are about

Buffs and splashes are used much more on music magazines

A simple colour scheme is used, in this case yellow white and black

The picture is appropriate for the genre that the rest of the magazine portrays and sticks to the genre of the music type. It is well lit and there will never be text over the face
