What is your Gender? Most of the results we got back were from females. We had 33.3% males respond and 66.7% of females. Having overall positive responses shows how much the topic has been welcomed into today’s generation. This tells us our target audience will be both genders.

However, we had some aggressive and inappropriate responses that we have blurred out. These responses came from both male and female audience members.

How old are you?

The age with the highest percentage was 16-20 with 64.3%. I think this occurred due to younger people being more open and interested in what Drag Queens actually do in everyday life. The lowest percentages were under 16’s with 4.67%, 31-40 with 5.95% and 40+ with 10.71%. This tells us that our main target audience ages will be from 16- 30 (with 16-20 having 64.3% and 21-30 having 14.3%).

What is your Favourite Colour?

The highest percentage for colour was blue with 20.5% followed by purple with 19.3%. This tells us that these colours should be used mainly throughout our project as they are the colours that appeal most to our target audience. The least favourite was the colour yellow which means we won't be using this colour in our documentary.

The results show that ‘Life’s a Drag’ was the most popular title with 55.95% voting for it. Therefore this will be our working title for our documentary. What do you think about men wearing makeup?

We asked this question to see how people would honestly respond to men wearing makeup as it has become more accepted. We found that there were mostly positive responses, proving that it’s not a frowned upon topic as much as it was in the past. However, we did get some negative responses - some worse than others, but they are the people who we are trying to show that Drag is nothing to be negative about.
