Team work

Due to the fact, that I was the only active member of my team, I’ve decided to complete the assignment in quite unconventional, yet (I hope so!) creative way.

Background

I am a IV year psychology student and the first thing that came to my mind, when thinking about finding common interests, when there are no other people, was Barnum effect.

Barnum effect

After Oxford Dictionary of Psychology it’s a tendency for people to accept vague, ambiguous and generalized statements as being accurate descriptions of their own personalities.

What can I do?I’ve decided to present You with

the characteristics of our team, to describe our values and our future even though I have no idea about my team mates.

Magic? No! Creative psychology!

● We like to learn new things.

● We don’t want to stand in one place.

● From time to time we all need changes.

● Solving problems gives us satisfaction.

● We all want to broaden our horizons.

● We want to learn and explore.

● We are interested in the world.

● We like meeting new people.

Who we are?

● We want to be creative!

● We all want to be happy.

● We want everything for our loved ones.

● We would give up a lot for our family and friends.

● We don’t want to be lonely.

● We want to be healthy.● We want to be good people.

● We want to be independent.

Our values

● We do not intend to hurt anyone.

● We want to be wise.

● We have lied to someone.

● We were crying.

● We felt lonely and misunderstood.

● We have said: „This is the best day of my life!”

● We have been wondering about our future.

● We were thinking about running away for some time.

● We were feeling infinite joy.

● We have been crying with laughter.

● We felt helpless.

At least once:

● We were in a stalemate.

Our future

● We wish for an amazing future.

● When we are old, we all want to have someone near us.

● We want to have a great job.

● We want to find our big love.

● We want to travel the world.

● We want to achieve our goals.

● When we are old, we want to have an opportunity to say „I did my best.”

● We all wish to be surrounded by benevolent people.

● We want to avoid routine.

And of course…

We all want world peace
