Progressive  Snapshot®  Program  

Commentary  &  insights    Progressive’s  Snapshot  program  has  collected  more  than  14  billion  miles  of  driving  data    since    its  incep*on  in  2008  

  Data  enables  Progressive  not  only  to  price  old  consumers  to  the  op*mal  level,  but  also  to  price  new  policies  with  the  same  characteris*cs  to  an  op*mal  level  

  Progressive  analyses  the  data  and  awards  a  discount  (up  to  30%)  to  consumers  who  drive  less,  more  safely  and  during  safer  *mes  of  the  day  

  Progressive    has  partnered  with  Censio  to  develop  the    Snapshot  mobile  App  which  will    be  available  for  public  consump*on  in  2016

Progressive®  Insurance  has  formally  partnered  with  Boston-­‐based  Censio  to  develop  the  Snapshot  Mobile  App  

Progressive  have  transi*oned  from  dongles  and  devices  to  smart  phone  apps,  .ie  sensors  people  already  carry  with  them  

Gives  drivers  personalized  informa*on,  including  a  one-­‐to-­‐five-­‐star  ra*ng  at  the  end  of  each  trip,  a  data  summary,  map  of  their  drive  and  tailored  driving  *ps  

Available  on  iOS  and  Android  devices  from  2016  or  op*on  remains  to  use  the  tradi*onal  telema*cs  device
