1. Learning outcomes / Evaluation criteria

– To recognise different kind of food.– To classify different kind of food found in the eatwell plate.– To distinguish the three meals per day.

2. Subject Content – Food classification groups: fruits and vegetables, bread and pasta, dairy products, meat and eggs, cakes and chocolate; and some examples of each group.

– Parts of the day and its meals.

3. Language Content / Communication

Vocabulary

– Nouns: banana, apple, carrot, tomato, potato, bread, biscuits,pasta, milk, yogurt, chicken, sandwich, egg, cake, chocolate bar and sugar. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

– Adjectives: good / bad – Verbs: to be, have.
