Is your business protected againstuncertainties? Having the rightinsurance coverage for your business isessential to your operations and success.G&F Financial Group offers a varietyof insurance products foryour business. Buy/sellagreements and key personinsurance are two types ofinsurance you should beaware of when operating abusiness.
Buy/Sell AgreementsA buy/sell agreement is
a must have for any success-ful business. This typeof coverage is extremelyimportant for businessowners with partners.Should one partner pass away, it willprovide funds for the remaining partneror partners to purchase the shares backfrom the deceased partner’s family. Thebenefit is two-fold. First, it will providefunds for the deceased partner’s familyto help mitigate any final expenses andoutstanding debt. Second, it will providefunds to help purchase the shares of thecompany back from their family.
Key Person InsuranceThere are many uncertain and
uncontrollable situations when runninga business. Protection is a must to guardagainst unexpected loss of employees, which will lead to loss of revenue. Keyperson insurance is one way to leverageagainst sudden setbacks.
Key person insurance is designedto provide an injection of cash into acompany upon the death or disabilityof a key person in the business. Manysuccessful businesses have a small
handful of key people whohave special knowledge, skills, experience or connections thatmake them a key asset to theorganization and its ongoingfinancial success.
If one of these peoplewere suddenly out of thepicture due to death or disabil-ity, it can create a large amountof uncertainty. For this reason, key person insurance isstrongly recommended for anykey person in the organization.
There are also other types ofinsurance to protect your business againstrisks. A full assessment by an insuranceprofessional is best in determining theright coverage and plans.
