Have you ever gone to
work, do your job, and
mind your own business,
and find out that someone
was discussing you for no
reason? Is it Jealousy?
What is Jealousy? The
dictionary says it is “a secon-
dary emotion and typically
refers to negative thoughts,
feelings of insecurity, fear,
and anxiety, an anticipated
loss of something that a per-
son values, particularly in
reference to a human connec-
tion.” This “green-eyed” mon-
ster, as it is commonly re-
ferred to,
often rears its
ugly head
and causes problems in many
situations.
I tend to believe that your
faith and trust in God will
overcome your fears of anxi-
ety and mistrust. Christians

Happy Thanksgiving! Thank God for your many Blessings!
Truth, Commitment, and Purpose are three facets needed for our personal growth.
We should live our lives in Truth, being honest, and loyal with the ones we love.
Commitment represents attachment and responsibility to situations and people.
The Purpose or plan for our lives was designed prior to our existence.
It represents our destiny, God’s reason for placing us on this earth.
These three facets are an integral part of our being — making our lives com-plex, yet doable.
Life cannot be life without being true to ourselves, committed to God and oth-ers, coupled with the desire and motivation to fulfill God’s purpose in our lives.

How Do I Get into Heaven?
A teacher asked the children in her Sunday School class, "If I sold my house and my car, had a big garage sale
and gave all my money to the church, would I get into heaven?" "NO!" the children all answered.
"If I cleaned the church every day, mowed the yard, and kept everything neat and tidy, would I get into heaven?"
Again, the answer was "NO!"
"Well," she continued, "then how can I get to heaven?" In the back of the room, a five-year-old boy shouted out,
"You gotta be dead!"

Prayer for October/November Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank you right now for all you have done in our lives! Thank you, most of all for your Dear Son, Jesus the Christ, who sacrificed His life so we can live. Help us Father to under-stand that there are seasons in life and that noth-ing remains the same. According to Ecclesias-tes 3:1, “To every thing there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heaven…” So, as we move through the different seasons in our life help us to keep our faith and not only praise you when things are going well, but also praise when we feel things are not going our way.
Help us to do this remembering what Jeremiah 29 :11 says “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” So, help us Father to enjoy the jour-ney called life knowing that through it all, you said you would never leave us, nor forsake us. We thank you Father for being the author and finisher of our faith.
We love you! In Jesus name we ask all these things; Amen!

Victory in Jesus’ name!
Since the young men do not know
that they should have control over their
desires, the young girl get tired of being
pressured by the young man and she
gives in to his harassment and begging.
The key is “I love you”. The young men
know that once they say that to the
young girls, it makes it easier for the
young girls to submit because the young
girls want to feel loved. The problem is
that young men do not mean it. It is only
to satisfy his desires at that time and
after the encounter is over, the young
girl is history and she is called demean-
ing names.
Once the young girl has given into
his advances, she is impregnated after
having relations for the first time in se-
cret. (Mark 4:22). The young man
immediately says that it is not his and
that she is a whore. He knows that is not
the truth. He does not want the responsi-
bility of being a father. He will say
things like “I'm too young to be a father”
or “I have my future to think about.”
What about the young girl? What about
her future? What about the responsibility
of being of mother by herself?
Her life has been changed forever. In
some cases, the young girl is in a state of
confusion, anger, loneliness, and fear,
and some do not recover from that trau-
matic experience. It also puts undue
strain on the family. Sometimes the par-
ents put the daughter out of their homes
to fend for herself and the baby.

REVELATION
As I was trying to decide
what topic to discuss in this
month's issue of The Visionary
Good News Gazette, it became
clear to me that we as Christian
brothers and sisters need to
really focus on letting go of an-
ger and bitterness against one
another. The Christian commu-
nity is supposed to be about
sharing the love of Christ with
others in our day-to-day lives.
Unfortunately, that love isn't
always visible to others who
may not understand the things
of God. Many times, those who
may have considered possibly
attending church or even be-
coming a Christian, are jaded by
what they see “true” Christians do-
ing. Believe it or not, your anger
does indeed affect those around you.
The root of anger can often be cor-
related with unforgiveness. God
commands us to LOVE one an-
other...and if we say that we love
Him, we are to keep His command-
ments. Therefore, when we practice
unforgiveness and harbor anger and
bitterness in our hearts, we are dis-
obeying God, and not displaying our
love for Him. A clear example of
this is when we choose to remain
angry at those who are close to us,
whether in proximity or relation-
ship. 1 John 4:20-21 tells us that we
should be loving toward our
neighbors if we are to call ourselves
lovers of God and that if we are
not loving toward them, then we
are LIARS. Of course, no one
wants to be dubbed a liar, but this
is why it's important to be who
God has commanded us to be.
James 1:22 says it best “Do not
merely listen to the word, and so
deceive yourselves. Do what it
says.” (NIV) We must remember
that this life is NOT about our
own agendas, it's NOT about what
we want or even our own comfort,
but about glorifying Christ in eve-
rything that we do to the best our
ability.
God Bless!

Inspirational Message — True Christians
Something To Ponder cont. from p.4 Young Men and their Desires such a young age. Children
are for married women and
their husbands, not for teen
parents. It takes two parents
to raise a child and a village.
Well, let me try to explain
the love that young men are
talking about. The “love”
they're talking about is a su-
perficial love, love of the
flesh only. This is the world's
way to love and not a love
from the heart. It is used to
get their needs met as well as
anything else they may want,
but what the young woman
should be looking for is love
from the heart, the uncondi-
tional love that only comes
from God. (Ephesians 5:25,
5:28; 1 Corinthians 5:9; 1
Corinthians 5:13).
I conclude that if the young
man was made to be as re-
sponsible as the young girl
and perhaps married her,
maybe there would not be so
many fatherless, homeless,
Page 7 Volume 1, Issue 9
Unfortunately, the young
man has moved on to an-
other victim. More and more
babies are being born out of
wedlock and the young men
are still not taking responsi-
bility for their actions.
Sometimes the young man’s
parents blame the girl and
say that she is a whore, but
the parents were not there
when their son was begging
and pleading and professing
his love for the girl. The
responsibility should be
shared equally.
I think the parents, or
whoever is raising the boy,
should talk to him about
being celibate and suggest
other places to focus his
energy, such as sports, act-
ing, even being an inventor,
anything to help them in the
future so that their lives and
the lives of the young girl
won't be disrupted by having
children responsibilities at
and foster children in the
world who are looking for
love from all the wrong
people. The young girl
needs to know who she is
in Christ and that her body
is the temple of the Holy
Ghost. She must know that
the love she is looking for
comes from God, the truly
unconditional love.

Will My Dreams Ever Come True? Saleama A. Ruvalcaba
reason at all.
Well, that was then, and that
was prior to becoming a be-
liever and realizing the love of
Jesus Christ! Jeremiah 1:5
states“Before I formed you in
the womb, I knew you; Before
you were born I sanctified
you.” Those are the words
from our Father in Heaven.
When I became a believer, I
finally realized how loved I
am. I finally knew I had a pur-
pose and call-
ing. I knew
instantly when
I became a
believer that I
was being
called into
ministry. I
enrolled into a
Bible college.
Here I was
again attempt-
ing college.
Only this time,
I was a child of
God. Not to
mention a mar-
ried mother of
three, at the
time, and fac-
ing a financial
disaster, but I
enrolled into
Bible college any way. My
husband and I went through
very bad financial problems
and an unplanned pregnancy,
but I never stopped going to
school. I had finally realized
my gifts and my calling and I
knew nothing could stop
God’s plan if I continued to
have faith.
What is your calling?
Maybe you think the way I
once thought and feel you
have no purpose, or maybe
you think your situation is too
big and too deep to even think
about following your dreams.
If it is God’s calling on your
life nothing can stop it. What
were your dreams as a child?
We often allow our surround-
ings to influence our dreams.
We tend to look at others and
think we want the same. But I
always say, as a 10 year-old
what did you dream about? As
a child, I remember being a
writer. I was the neighborhood
writer, producer and director. I
was always putting on a pro-
ductions. I
was always
writing a
play, or a
story or a
screenplay.
But not
knowing
God, I didn’t
realize that
was a gift
He gave me.
Think back
to your
childhood
and pull up
those hidden
talents.
God ex-
pects us to
use what He
gave us.
Matthew
25:29 states “For to everyone
who has, more will be given
and he will have abundance.”
This section in the Bible is
speaking of talents we are given
from God and we are to use
them. It doesn’t matter where
your life is right now. It’s not
too late. You’re not too old; too
young and your situation is not
too big. When you bring it to
Jesus and ask Him to help you,
you will slowly, but surely,
realize your dreams coming
true. It is a process that takes
hard work from you. It won’t
happen overnight. You have to
I know at one point I asked
myself that question many
times. I looked at the people
around me and became very
envious because they seemed to
be very successful. I always felt
sorry for myself and was angry
all the time because I couldn’t
see the gifts I had. Every day I
had a new idea, or a new busi-
ness venture. Even though I
couldn’t see my gifts I felt
there had to be some hidden
away. No one around me gave
positive feedback about my
gifts so therefore I simply con-
cluded I had no gifts and I was
never going to be successful as
an individual.
After high-school I tried going
to college five different times
for five different subjects. I
went for accounting, radio
broadcasting, telecommunica-
tions, business marketing, and
child development. Each time
was based on a spur of the mo-
ment thought to work in that
field. I never made it past one
semester. I tried selling cosmet-
ics a few times. Each time the
person training me seemed so
confident and successful and I
figured if they could do it why
not me? I lasted no more than
two months. Let’s not forget
the many, many business ideas
I came up with. I was going to
start a daycare center, sell real-
estate, make t-shirts, do scrap-
booking, start a non-profit or-
ganization, medical billing and
catering. I can go on and on
with many more. None of these
ideas ever took off. There was
a pattern in each of these situa-
tions and I came up with a con-
clusion about myself. I con-
cluded that I was a person who
couldn’t finish what I started. I
had no confidence or belief in
myself. I was convinced I was
here on earth for no special
Page 10 Visionary “Good News” Gazette
be patient and trust that God
is doing work inside you at
the same time. One of my
husband’s absolute dreams
was to be a football coach.
That’s all he ever talked
about. He said as a child he
wanted to play football more
than anything, but never had
the opportunity. He loves
watching football. In 2009,
he hesitantly went to the
coaching staff at our son’s
new high-school and asked if
they had any positions, and
they did. He was offered a
volunteer position as an assis-
tant on the JV football team.
He was on cloud nine. He
knew that was the beginning,
and he knew that if he stayed
patient God would continue
to move him further and fur-
ther as he continues to learn
and grow.
Don’t wait for the perfect
moment to start living your
dream, because today is the
perfect moment. God wants
you to believe in Him and
realize the potential He has
given you. He wants you to
ask Him to help you and trust
in Him as He moves you in
the direction of your calling.
You are going to be told
by others to stop dreaming, or
don’t waste your time, but
God doesn’t waste anything.
You do have a destiny, and
your destiny will be fulfilled
with continued faith. Your
dream is going to come true!
One day this article will be
written by you to inspire oth-
ers. Never give up on Jesus
as he will never give up on
you!

Anger The most common problem people face on a daily basis is
not being able to control their anger. There are so many ways to
explain anger, but the most important things we should know
about anger is to not allow it to affect us in a way that could hurt
our walk with God. It has always been easy to get angry, but one
man went through some of the most horrific things a person can go through, but he never stop
believing that God would see him through.
Job, a man of great wealth, had thousands of cows and sheep and hundreds of oxen and
donkeys. He also had ten children. Job was more than just a rich man, but a good man who
pleased God. Job was put through numerous trials by Satan, but God did not allow Satan to
kill Job. He had lost all his animals, his wealth, and all his children, but no matter what, Job
never cursed God. As a result, God blessed him abundantly by giving him more animals and
wealth. In fact, he was blessed with more children.
The point of telling this story is so that we always remember to not be quick to anger.
Job lost everything, but he kept the faith and hung on. God saw his faith and He blessed and
restored him. In Proverbs 14:29, the Bible says,“ Whoever is slow to anger has great under-
standing, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.” Sister BJ

Psalm 1
1:1 Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stand in the way of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of scoffers;
1:2 but his delight is in Yahweh’s law.
On his law he meditates day and night.
1:3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water,
that brings forth its fruit in its season,
whose leaf also does not wither.
Whatever he does shall prosper.
1:4 The wicked are not so,
but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
1:5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judg-ment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
1:6 For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked shall perish.
Psalm 3
A Psalm by David, when he fled from Absalom his son.
3:1 Yahweh, how my adversaries have increased!
Many are those who rise up against me.
3:2 Many there are who say of my soul,
“There is no help for him in God.”
Selah.
3:3 But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
3:4 I cry to Yahweh with my voice,
and he answers me out of his holy hill.
Selah.
3:5 I laid myself down and slept.
I awakened; for Yahweh sustains me.
3:6 I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people
who have set themselves against me on every side.

Save me, my God!
For you have struck all of my enemies on the cheek bone.
You have broken the teeth of the wicked.

Your blessing be on your people.

God desires for all of us to be saved. It is not His desire that any should perish. Nevertheless, He also gave us free
will. Our Father desires us to make the decision of following Him or not.
Have you made that decision? When you take your last breath, where will you spend eternity? Will it be Heaven or
hell? The end result will be based upon the choice you made!
It is my hope that you choose to follow God. If you make that choice today, you have to acknowledge that you are a
sinner. Then you must repent of your sins.
Salvation! Is this your Eternal Goal?

Sharing the “Word of God” and letting
His light shine before men is an essen-
tial part of this ministry. Visionary
Christian Ministries through the pro-
duction of this monthly newsletter de-
sires to reach ALL people, saved and
unsaved!
The “Word of God” is not a secret
for Christians, it is the road map that
God ordained for ALL people. Shar-
ing, encouraging, laughing, praying,
and most of all, loving one another is a
must for this ministry.
We hope that God’s eternal love
seeps through to the reader as they
read and enjoy this newsletter.
Remember, your future cannot change
for the better without Christ!
God Bless You!
You must acknowledge that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died on the cross for you. It is as simple as
that! God hears you and God Saves you! If you have not made that decision today, please make it soon. Tomorrow is
not promised to you and waiting until later, may be too late! Eternity is too long to be without God!
