He was born in 1953 and he has created over 150 title sequence since his career started over 30 years ago.
He studied graphics and photography, and film. However his initial career started with the jams Bond films
with Maurice Binder.
He was the chairman of Europe films and animation conference “pencil to pixel” since 2002, and in 32009 he
was appointed Honorary professor of Digital Film School of media, Art and Imaging at University of Dundee,
Scotland.
In recent years, Richard has branched into movie production. He is currently producing the big screen
adaptation of The Dragon Conspiracy, based on a trilogy of books by P. R. Moredun. He is also in
development with the writer/director Tania Hoser on her independent film Perfect Order.

IMPACT OF HIS TITLE SEQUENCE
Richard Morrison’s title sequence has inspired so many young and upcoming tile
designers and has change the way title sequences are seen in films.
His title sequence doesn't’t just give an insight of what the films are about but what
the film communicates to the audience.
Films like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and Bat man has a gross impact
on films and how films are seen in the media.
