Itisdesignedwithfullaircraftandoperatorsafetyinmind.Iftheaircraftisnotpositionedcorrectlythetugwillnotallowthelandinggeartobepickedup.

ThereisamaximummovementbetweenTugandaircraftof60degreeseitherway(thiscanbeconfiguredtocustomerrequirement).Ifoversteeringoccursthenanalarmwillsound,anditwillbedisplayedontheOMS(ifoneisfitted).IftheoperatorcontinuestooversteerthentheTugwillcometoatop.Countersteeringwillallowyoutocontinuetomovetheaircraft.

OMS (OPERATION MONITORING SYSTEM) OPTIONAL

TheOMSisthemain-communicationterminalforalloperationalsettingsinthevehicle.Anelectroniccomputer-controlledmonitoringsystemdeterminesthecurrentsituationofallvitalequipment.DataisindicatedonaDashboardforthedriver.Iftheequipmentstartsoperatingoutsideofitsparamotorsthisisindicatedwithredflashingwarninglightandalarmsignal.

OWC (OVERWEIGHT CONTROL) OPTIONAL

TheOWCisalandinggearweighingsystem.Whileraisingthelandinggeartheactuallandinggearweightisdetermined.TheweighingresultisindicatedthedriverontheOMS(iffitted).Iftheallowedlandinggearweightiscrossed,theweighingresultflashesintheDashboardwiththenote“OVERLOADED”.TheTugwillautomaticallyshutdowntheabilitytomoveforwardandbackwards.

Towingmaneuversinacrampedhangaralwayscomewitharisk.The“WingDistanceControl”isastepinsafemaneuveringinnarrowareasandbyanearlywarningsystemtheuserismadeawareofimpendingobstacles.Bothacousticsignalsandavisualdisplayonadisplaygivethedriverinformationonthecurrentdistance.Whenthelateralwingdistanceislessthan1.5mtoafixedormovableobstacle,thesystemisactivated.
