May 12 at the Crowne Plaza Tampa-East. We have 20 FREE tickets (last year 22

right side of the ticket and return it to her no later than Sunday, May 6 or drop in
the office door box. She has to give them the official attendance count at that
time. A ticket must be completed for each adult and child. You will keep the left
side of the ticket for admission at the dinner. Be sure to let us know if you have to
cancel at the last minute.
L2L Convention Thanks to Dodi Cline for leading our L2L group
and to the others who worked with the teams and individuals!
To quote Carolyn, “What an exciting, fun, and uplifting weekend we had in Orlando
at the Lads Convention! So proud of all the students and the growth they had this
year! Thank you, Dodi! I am so thankful that you and Doug have a passion for this
program and a great love for the children and their growth in God’s word. I see
great things for our kids coming. I have always enjoyed hearing the speeches from
our youth, but I have noticed the older I get the more they really touch me to hear
the future leaders in our church and our country speaking the scriptures and apply-
ing them in their lives. The whole class of PEARLS, affectionately called, “The
PEARLS Girls” all tested and scored in the top 10% and Banner won 1st Place!
Throw in a great performance from our Puppet Team and several 1st Place Art
works, Good Samaritans, Bible Reading acknowledgements of accomplishments
and our 1st Place winners in Boys Speech and it was a super fun weekend!”
Look for pictures and names next week.
