WEO President, FY2005/2006

Myles Sherman was elected the 8th President of WEO. The new brand was

officially launched at the Global Leadership Conferences (GLC) and the

Montreal University. YEO and WEO merged; EO was officially branded as an

international, non-profit educational organization that is chapter-driven, run

by member volunteers and supported by EO staff.

HIGHLIGHTS

10 WEO Forums met in September 2005 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA for the first WEO Forum

Retreat.

Another class completed the Birthing of Giants program, sponsored by the MIT Enterprise Forum,

Inc. and YEO.

EO Montreal University was held from 3-7 August, 2005 in Montreal Canada for 369 members and

guests. Chairperson of the event was Frederick McNicoll.

Following Nancye Miller’s departure, Mark Lincoln was named the Managing Director in October

2005, as requested by the EO Global Board of Directors.

EO Marrakech University was held from 5-9 April, 2006 in Morocco for 400 members and guests.

Chairperson of the event was Raphael Dana.

This year’s first GLC was held from 18-20 May, 2006 in Washington, DC, USA for 469 members

and guests. Chairperson of the event was Blair Assaly.

This year’s second GLC was held from 8-10 June, 2006 in Auckland, New Zealand for 76 members

and guests. Chairperson of the event was Chris Simmons.
