Undergraduate Field Trip to the Big Island of Hawaii August 23 – 30, 2014
Hike along a volcanic crater, an ancient lava lake, and possibly see lava flows. See spectacular black and green sand beaches formed from ancient volcanoes.
Prior to the start of fall term, the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (EPS) will offer an undergraduate field trip to the Big Island of Hawaii. Students who have declared EPS as their primary, joint or secondary concentration will be eligible to participate.
All expenses for the trip will be covered by the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences.
