All Regular class will be divided by sex and are offered
for all Miscellaneous breeds and all FSS breeds.
DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER
These events are open to all dogs four (4) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club in the Miscellaneous or Foundation Stock Service (FSS) eligible breeds.
Professional Handlers are not permitted to exhibit in Open Shows. Professional Handlers are defined according to the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 3, Section 7.
Dogs should be physically sound. No dog shall be judged if it is taped, bandaged, glued, or stitched anywhere, including ears or tail, in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Puppies under four (4) months of age are strictly prohibited from the event grounds.

Make checks payable to the Berger Picard Club of America (BPCA). No entries will be accepted by phone or fax. Express mail entries must include the signature waiver allowing them to be left at the secretary’s address. Entry inquiries may be directed to Celestia Lensky at [email protected]. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specified any conditions as to it’s acceptance.
Illegible entries will not be processed and will be returned to the exhibitor. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry and the Show Secretary will add a collection fee to the amount of each returned check.

Directions: At Route 95 go South to Exit #14 Right onto Route 1 (CT Ave.); at 1st light turn left (North Taylor Ave.); 1st left onto W. Cedar; Hospital on left.
Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
All dogs must have a current rabies certificate available for inspection at the show, if requested.

Overnight Parking
Gates Close 10:00 P.M. Friday & Saturday Night No Parking on the street. No dogs allowed in any beach areas at any time. No open fires.
The Tidal Pond contains brackish water and may make dogs ill or stain coats.
Prepaid Friday or Saturday Overnight Parking for selfcontained vehicles, $25.00 per night. Your check or money order for either night payable to the Greenwich Kennel Club, Inc. should be mailed to Penny Kretchmer, 18 Wineberry Ln., Ballston Spa, NY 120204305 ([email protected]). Include an email for confirmation.
Vehicles arriving without a prepaid reservation will be charged $35.00 per night. RVs and Large Vehicles arriving Saturday or Sunday after 7:00 A.M. will be charged $25.00 for the day due to limited parking. A fee will be collected to reserve space for the next day. All vehicles must park as directed and in designated areas only! No hookups or running water available on these grounds. All fire lanes and roadways must remain clear.
Handicapped Parking does not guarantee you will be close to the rings.

FROM RTE I95 – EXIT #16 EAST NORWALK, CT.
Go South on East Ave. (1/2 mile). Left on Van Zandt after cemetery (Rte. 136) then right on Gregory for 1/2 mile. Left on Marvin, at Fifth St., immediate right onto Calf Pasture Beach Blvd (1/2 mile). Left on Canfield Ave to exhibitor entrance.
FROM MERRITT PARKWAY & RTE 7 CONNECTOR Exit #39 follow Rte 7 South to Rte I95 North, one exit. Take Exit #16
South onto East Ave, See above.
OVERSIZED VEHICLES (12’ – 14’ CLEARANCE) Rte. I95 Exit #16, Go South on East Ave. Prior to railroad overpass, turn
right onto Fort Point St. to 2nd stop sign. Pass under the overpass (14’ clearance). Proceed straight to traffic light turning left onto Seaview Ave. Follow Seaview to First Street. Turn right at the traffic light onto Gregory Blvd. See above. When you return Sycamore Street is on the right opposite First Street at this Gregory Blvd. traffic light.
RTE 684 TO RTE 7 CONNECTOR THEN I95 NORTH Rte 35 East towards Ridgefield, CT. Follow to the “Y” (Rte 33) at the
Ridgefield fountain. Go right (South) onto Rte 33. Follow Rte 33 to traffic light at end and Rte 7. Turn right (South) and follow Rte 7 for approximately 4 miles. In Norwalk Rte 7 becomes “Main Ave”. Turn right at light just past Starbucks (on right). At the 2nd set of lights turn left onto the “Rte 7 Connector” (South). At the end, take I95 North over the bridge. Take Exit #16 see above.
Rte I84 in CT. TO I95 Take Exit #3 (Rte 7) South for about 17 miles. In Norwalk Rte 7 becomes
“Main Ave”. Turn right at light just past Starbucks (on right). At 2nd set of lights, go left onto “Rte 7 Connector” to I95 North to next exit (#16).

SAFETY, BEHAVIOR, and LIABILITY
The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this event, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport.
It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the event committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. The Berger Picard Club of America and it’s agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, spectators, or handlers to their dogs, property, or children. The BPCA reserves the right to decline entries for cause and may remove any dog on account of aggression.
No one shall have any recourse or claim against the BPCA, the show secretary, or any official thereof.
DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES WHEN ON EVENT GROUNDS

REFUNDS or CHANGES
No entry fee will be refunded if the event cannot open or be completed by the reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. No entry fee will be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from the competition for any reason.
There will be no refund for duplicate entries.
Changes, additions, or corrections to entry forms must be received in writing prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not acceptable.
RINGSIDE
Ringside Tables & Crating will only be allowed in accordance with the Greenwich Kennel Club regulations, as published in their premium list:
Dogs must be ready for judging. Showtime: 2 pm. Neither the club nor it’s Show Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. No Flexileads, prong or electric collars in the show area.
Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging.
Dogs allowed in the rings during judging and professional photography only.
CLEAN UP
Please clean up after your dogs, your children, and yourself.
Pickup hair and debris after grooming.
Please be neat and place all garbage in the dumpster or trash cans as soon as possible.
ARBITRATION
This club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC Entry Form for this event
