EGG OSMOSIS EXPERIMENT
• Place eggs in vinegar for 24 hours to remove shell.
• Measure weight of egg with balance.
• Measure size of egg using string and ruler.
• Place one egg in corn syrup and place other in water.
• Weigh and measure eggs again.
PURPOSE
• I thought water egg would get bigger
• I thought water egg would get lighter
HYPOTHESIS WATER EGG
• I thought corn syrup egg would get bigger
• I thought it would get smaller.
HYPOTHESIS CORN SYRUP EGG
• Eggs
• 2 Beakers
• Corn Syrup
• Vinegar
• Water
• String and measuring tape
• Balance (scale)

• What I got right is the Water egg got bigger.
• Shell came off 24 hours after vinegar
• Egg got deflated after 24 hours corn syrup
• Egg got bigger when in water 24 hours
VISUAL OBSERVATIONS
• Water egg got bigger
• had a higher concentration than the corn syrup egg.
• The corn syrup egg got smaller
• had a lower concentration than the water egg
• The corn syrup egg looked looked soggy
• The water egg looked larger.
CONCLUSION
• I thought corn syrup egg will get bigger I was wrong.
• I thought water egg will get smaller I was wrong.
• I thought water egg would stay the same I was wrong.
CONCLUSIONMY HYPOTHESIS WAS WRONG
