RE: The business proposal
And if you can read this exact text, you have excellent eyesight. The point of this block is to fake a business letter. But I needed a lot of small words just to fill the space. The quick brown foxjumps over the lazy dog. Did you know that sentence has every single letter of the alphabet in it?
You too may find yourself needing to read the small print. Disclaimers are commonly done thisway. Bring me a lantern. Harry Truman, Doris Day. If you see a silhouette of a man, you are much more likely to sing the words as you read them if you know the song than if you didn’t.
This should be enough text to make the letter seem like it is formatted.
Thank you,Ms. Jane Doe

To the Student
In this lesson, you will review the verb tenses: past, present, and future. Itis important to be familiar with verb tenses because the verb tenses in your writingshould be consistent.
If you begin a paragraph in the present tense, continue writing in the presenttense.
If you begin a paragraph in the past tense, continue writing in the past tense.
The verb tenses in your essays should be consistent. Inconsistent verbtenses make your writing harder to read and understand.
In this book you will find numbered parts that are called Frames. Withinthese Frames, you will be asked to respond to many questions about verb tense.Write your answers to the questions on a separate piece of paper. Then look atthe top of the next page in the book and check your answers.
If you use the book in this way, you will easily remember how to use verbtense correctly. If you do not understand how to use this book, or if you needassistance with certain Frames, ask your instructor for help.
Now turn the page and begin.
