Popcorn Machine
As many of our theatre-goers know,
our popcorn machine stopped
working, was repaired then stopped
working again.
We purchased a new popcorn
machine and it is working fine!
The cost of the new machine was
$481.
A very generous resident donated
$100 to help cover the cost of the
new popcorn machine.
If you would like to make a donation
to help cover the cost of the new
popcorn machine, there is a
donation jar on the toppings table at
the theatre.
The Rio Encore Theatre will be closed from December 17
through January 5. We will re-open on Friday January 6 at 6PM
but we are always open for Birthday Parties and other events!.

Get Ready!
Winter is almost upon us! What better way to enjoy it than to get out
with friends and family for some great cross-country skiing and show
shoeing at the Onaping Falls Nordics trails. Starting at the chalet
located at the Windy Lake Provincial Park,
you'll find immaculately groomed trails
available for all ability levels. The trails,
which wind through breath-taking scenery
provide the longest season of any in the area
due to a unique micro-climate that likes to
preserve its snow. Skiing and snow shoeing
are wonderful forms of exercise: aerobic, low impact, and high calorie
burning. Feel the exhilaration and then warm up next to the fireplace
inside the chalet.
For the up-coming season special events will focus on our
neighbouring communities and plans are underway to re-introduce
the jack rabbit program for young beginners. For more information
about these activities, day passes, season memberships, and
equipment rentals please check in with our website:
www.onapingfallsnordics.com and phone (705) 855-0145 for up-to-
date trail conditions. Please join us this season at Onaping falls: great
trails, longer season, pristine wilderness.
