thousands of schools across the U.S., the Campbell’s Labels for Education
program is coming to an end. Please send any Labels for Education that
you have to school no later than April 15. (Please note: Box Tops for
Education is not ending, so please continue to turn in Box Tops.)

“Blessed are they who have not seen and yet
believed,” Jesus says in today’s Gospel. For those
who have not seen to believe, however, we must
be good stewards of our faith, living it joyfully
and sharing it generously. Then, in our time too,
“men and women in great numbers” will be
“added to the Lord.” See John 20:29; Acts 5:14

Third Sunday of Easter
Trustee nomination Nominations for parish trustee closed on April 3. Bill Zirbes, who
was nominated by Fr. Greg, was the only nominee for this position.
Therefore, according to state statute, he is declared elected as
trustee. No election will be held this weekend. Congratulations Bill,
and thank you for your ongoing service to our parish.
Priesthood discernment meeting Young men in high school who are discerning a
vocation to the archdiocesan priesthood are invited
to join Fr. Luke Strand, Vocation Director of the
Archdiocese of Milwaukee, as he hosts our monthly
High School Discernment Group at St. Francis de
Sales Seminary. The remaining meetings are April 15
and May 20. For more information and to download
a permission form (for those under the age of 18),
visit thinkpriest.org or call 414-747-6437.
Building & Grounds Appeal update Thank you to everyone who has given to our special
appeal to cover growing costs of maintenance to our
facility and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee therapy
fund payment. Since we made our appeal in the
February letter to parishioners, we have raised over
$7,100 to help offset these unexpected costs (which
total $17,650). We appreciate your continued
donations to this appeal. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month The Archdiocese of Milwaukee mandates that all people who work
and volunteer with children and youth in our parishes and schools
must undergo safe environment education. The education details five
steps to prevent child sexual abuse.
1. Know the warning signs!
2. Control access to children and youth by carefully selecting the
adults who work with them.
3. Monitor all programs for the safety of children and youth.
4. Be aware of and sensitive to what is going on in the lives of
children and youth.
5. Communicate concerns to the appropriate person in authority. Source: www.virtusonline.org/virtus
It is every adult’s moral responsibility to protect possible victims by
reporting the suspected abuse or neglect to the responsible authorities.
Sexual abuse of minors is a pervasive societal problem, and only
concerted and sustained efforts by all adults in every segment of society
can help to protect children and youth. To report suspected abuse of a
minor, call your local authorities or Child Protective Services.

A Journey through the Acts of the Apostles During the Easter Season, our first reading at Sunday Mass each week
is taken from the Acts of the Apostles. Come to a formation talk at
6:30PM on April 12 to learn more about what happened after Jesus’
ascension and how the apostles followed Jesus’ great commission to
go out and tell the Good News. Contact Valerie Adamski for more
information, [email protected] or 414-358-4600, ext. 148.
