Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning Camp 2013
SINGAPORE
Distinguished Participants
and Advisors,
We would like to sincerely extend
our warmest welcome, and look forward
your participation in Asian Youth Leaders
Travel and Learning Camp 2013.
The Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning
Camp is being organized for the second time
in Singapore. The camp aims at bringing
student leaders from different Asian
countries, through engaging activities, to
enhance their abilities in cross-cultural
interaction and cooperation, which will
further equip them to be effective leaders. In
addition, participants can understand more
about Singapore - a multiracial, multilingual
and multicultural society - from various
perspectives. Nevertheless, what they can
learn here may not only be unique to
Singapore, but also applicable to their home
countries as well as the increasingly
i n t e r c o n n e c t e d a n d
interdependent world.
We will do our best to provide
you a truly comfortable, resourceful and
unforgettable Singapore experience. Once
again, we sincerely welcome you to the
Asian Youth Leaders Travel and Learning
Camp 2013.
Hope to meet you soon in our Island Home!

Welcome to AYLTLC 2013!
The Organizing Committee, AYLTLC 2013
Supported by:
A city that
showcases citizen’s creativity,
diligence and amicability.
A land that gives foreigners a warm,
enriching and unforgettable experience.
A young city-nation with cordiality and
vibrancy.
Situated at the south of Malay Peninsula,
shrouded by tropical sunshine, Singapore
has been described as “Asian Economic
Miracle”, a thriving cosmopolitan city
brimming with racial diversity as well as a
fine mixture of culture, language, arts and
architecture.
Singapore rose to prominence largely due to
her strategical position as a trading port, a
stable Government and its pro-business
policies
and institutions,
which is of paramount
importance for Multi-National

confidence and invest in. Through the years
after Independence, the nation had
developed its economic prowess and gain
much respect in terms of international
standing.
Educational quality and a diverse culture has
always been Singapore’s pride. Singapore
witnessed clashes and integrations of various
culture and has since cultivated a unique
cultural melting pot. While continuing to act
as the regional center, embracing the
diversity while maintaining her own
uniqueness, Singapore is building a
reputation as a home for all people.
