Introduction - What is ITER
• ITER Organization is a:– Global collaboration;
• ITER Agreement includes China, the European Union, India, Japan, Korea, Russia and the United States of America, together representing over half of the world's population
– Large-scale scientific experiment;• to demonstrate it is possible to realise an environmentally friendly
energy source, on a commercial scale, for humanity, from nuclear fusion
