One School, One Book is a Wonder By Kyra Milloy &
Nehemiah Vargas
For the sec-

Middle School stu-
dents are partici-
pating in One
School, One Book.
"The purpose of
OSOB is to develop
a community of
readers," said Mrs.
C h o r d a s .
This year a
committee of teach-
ers from Lincoln
Middle School and
Washington Middle
School chose one
book from reading
book reviews and
bestsellers' lists.
OSOB is a program
that lasts 4 weeks
and students read
about 75 pages a
w e e k .
The commit-
tee keeps the book a
secret to build sus-
pense and enthusi-

clues in Times
Square to help stu-
dents try to figure
out the book before
it was revealed.
Over 2000 people
are reading this
n o v e l .
After four
weeks, students at-
tended an assembly

even a trivia game
show onstage show-

He said he decided to make the club be-cause "I was asked by Dominic Colite and Joseph Charneco." Mr. Wall said that he believes the most valuable card is the
Egyptian God cards. "While I believe that some are," Julio Her-nandez says, "the most valuable card is the 'Exzodia God.'" So, why Yu-Gi-Oh club? Dominic Colite
said," Jo-s e p h Charneco, Julio Her-nandez and I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh and then came up with the idea to play a f t e r
