YOU'RE INVITED TO

cruise for the Caribbean

hen you get down to the root of it, travel is about exploration and discovery. The places

you go and the things you do there reflect who you are and shape who you become. Right now, we have an opportunity to come alongside our friends, family, and partners in the Caribbean. In order for us to continue learning from each other and connecting in the future, we need to do our part to help the recovery now. That’s the spirit that spurred us to create Fathom. We travel differently. We don’t just show you a culture, we bring you deep inside to understand it. We don’t just introduce you to people, we start conversations that lead to amazing things. We don't just show you the world, we give you the chance to help grow its future.

Be more than a visitor. Become a friend.

make travel matter

the fathom storyLike most great adventures, the first discussions about the concept that would become Fathom were held over a great meal.

Tara Russell, Fathom's president, had always believed that there was an appetite among travelers to combine their passion for adventure with their desire for meaning, purpose and deep connection. Fathom was built through a global legacy of partnerships, success, and generosity within Carnival Corporation & plc. With the resources, infrastructure and reach of the world's largest travel & leisure company and a committed network of local partners, Fathom creates sustainable and scalable experiences that benefit communities and travelers alike.

Through thoughtfully tailored onboard programming and a future-forward vision that can transform lives, Fathom gives travelers like you the chance to be part of a much larger story. We want to connect you not only with your world and its people, but with the passion that burns inside you. Tap into those feelings that keep you up at night; listen to that inner voice telling you to go ahead, take the reins, and leap headlong into your best life lived.

We are Fathom. Let's make great things happen, together.

Making a dent in the universe should be more fun than anything else out there— we

believe it is and will continue to be. We hope you’ll join us!

— TARA RUSSELL

What can I expect on-shore? We are currently building special shore excursions in seleceted port locations. We will visit: Antigua, St Maarten, St Thomas, and Amber Cove, Dominica Republic. These shore excursions will provide local interactions with communities and people that have been directly impacted by hurricanes Irma and Maria. Each shore excursion will be an additional fee and will be voluntary. Keep checking our website and social accounts for further details.

What should I pack to wear?

On the Ship: Casual sportswear, including shorts, lightweight pants and jogging suits, is theorder of the day both at sea and ashore in hotter climates. We recommend you bring a sweater, a jacket or an all-weather coat for cool evenings, and for shore excursions, depending on your destination. You'll also want comfortable shoes for strolling on deck.

For evening dining, keep with what you would wear to a nice restaurant at home: skirts/dresses, slacks, and sweaters for ladies, pants and open-neck shirts for men. Cruises five days or longer include at least one formal dining night: evening gowns and cocktail dresses for ladies and tuxedos, dinner jackets or dark suits for men.

get more than a great view. gain a fresh perspective.

ANTIGUA - The largest of the British Leeward Islands, Antigua (pronounced an-tee-ga) boasts one of the Caribbean's most spectacular coastlines with secluded coves and sun-drenched beaches. The island's rolling hills are dotted with stone sugar mills, relics from the bygone era when sugar was king. Historic Nelson's Dockyard, where Admiral Horatio Nelson quartered his fleet in 1784, attests to Antigua's long and colorful nautical history during colonial times. And St. John's, the island's bustling capital, offers visitors a wealth of boutiques, restaurants and pubs.

ST. MAARTEN offers a delightful case of split personality. Legend has it that a Frenchman and a Dutchman divided ownership of the island through a walk-off: Standing back to back, the two headed in opposite directions, walking around the island until they met. The French ended up claiming 21 square miles of the island to 16 square miles for the Dutch. No formal boundary exists between the Dutch and French sides of the island; a simple welcome sign tells you when you cross from one country to the other. And it's this split personality that lends so much to the island's charms, including an international reputation for the finest cuisine in the Caribbean.

get closer to the islands we'll visitWe'll take you on a journey to learn more about the past and present of these beautiful island nations...

ST. THOMAS The US Virgin Islands are America's paradise, offering an easygoing blend of island ways and American practicality. St. Thomas, capital of the island group, offers every imaginable sport: snorkeling, golfing, hiking, and sailing. Just a few miles away lay St. John and Virgin Islands National Park. Stunning mountain scenery, crystalline waters, and white-sand beaches with palms swaying in the breeze - the US Virgin Islands are truly a slice of paradise. The harbor is easily one of the Caribbean's most scenic. The United States purchased the Virgin Islands from Denmark for $25 million in gold. St. Thomas has a reputation as a duty free-mecca for shopping.

AMBER COVE holds a special place in our hearts. Tucked on the north coast of the Dominican Republic, Amber Cove sits just seven miles from the town Puerto Plata, which boasts a playground of activities and rich culture that's fun for everyone in the family. Go for a swim with the dolphins, take to the high seas on a luxury catamaran, explore the 450-year-old San Felipe Fortress, ride on a cable car 2,500 feet to the top of Mount Isabel de Torres for a look at its massive statue of Christ, swing through the trees on a zip line or relax with a quiet picnic on the beach. Whether you prefer your adventures fast and furious or slow and steady, you're sure to find paradise in Amber Cove.
