Sayonara to Senior year stress Step one: BREATHE…
Plan ahead and take some time out to relax! You can be stress-free this fall even amidst all the chaos of college applications admissions
Many students believe that acceptance to a selective college is the key that unlocks the door to success in life, so enduring any amount of stress is worth the reward.
The average admit rate for all Ivy schools in 2015 was about 10 percent. Does that mean the other 90 percent, many of whom had perfect SAT scores or were valedictorians, are failures? NO!
How will we help reduce stress?
Senior Blitz: 15 minute individual meetings with your counselor (begins Friday) to discuss grad requirements, college admission strategies, and college lists
A note will come to class in advance of the appointment with the specific meeting time.
If a Senior has a conflict, we will be sure to re-schedule

DO you know what your student is posting?
If your student has not yet created a college email account, now is the time to do so, as they will use it throughout the college application process. Encourage them to BE WISE in the selection of your name, as that is the first thing many admissions officers will see from them!
