Yarraton is a project of Education Development Association (EDA), a non-profit corporation which aims to promote the education and personal development of individuals according to the ideals of Christianity.
Yarraton’s vision is to raise the professional standards of the hospitality industry by developing a true attittude of service in each individual. Yarraton is an industry partner of Kenvale College of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
In addition to providing all hospitality services to Warrane College (UNSW), Yarraton also organises short courses in areas of home management such as food and beverage, cookery, interior decoration, event management and leadership skills. All the activities of a spiritual nature are entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church.

Make a Fresh Start at Yarraton...Staying at YarratonYarraton has a true family setting. A genuine concern for each other is the basis of this family environment.
A variety of social events are organised to help foster a balanced lifestyle:
– Social projects within Sydney (monthly), as well as overseas (yearly): Fiji, Tonga, The Philippines, etc. – Cultural trips overseas – Sporting activities – Leisure activities such as BBQs, bush walks, and weekends away
Students from a variety of backgrounds stay at Yarraton. They attend a range of courses at universities, TAFE or privatecolleges within Sydney.

Hours of work are flexible, arranged according to work availability and student’s study commitments.Residents can supplement the cost of room and board by working in any of the four available departments: Kitchen, Food and Beverage, Laundry and Housekeeping.Students receive outstanding professional training from experienced and qualified personnel.
Yarraton provides full room and board accommodation for young women.Facilities include individual bedrooms, common room, chapel, study and computer library (broadband internet access).Bedroom linen and laundry facilities are also provided.
