TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Receipt of this order should be acknowledged by return or post confirming acceptance of rated and theconditions of supply. Clarification on specification/ drawing/ any other item, where necessary, may besought from us, before execution of the Order.
2. Follow the mode of dispatch indicated in the Order Railway consignment from Broad Gauge Stations areto be booked to Bangalore Cantt. & Metre-Gauge Stations to Bangalore city consignments by road will beat carrier's risk.
3. All packages should contain packing lists quoting this order reference. Consignments should beaddressed to National Aerospace Laboratories, NWTC Belur, Bangalore -560 037, India.
4. Local firms may deliver the goods at the Stores of the National Aerospace Laboratories, NWTC Belur,Bangalore - 560 037, India before 3.00 p.m. on any working day (Saturdays & Sundays are closed, besidespublic holidays)
5. In the case of instruments/equipments/plant and machinery two copies each of the circuitdiagram/ erection / maintenance manuals / operation should be furnished, wherever necessary.
6. Sales Tax Registration No. Should be mentioned in the bill, wherever Sales Tax is payable extra. Thisoffice is not eligible to issue C/O form, but the Concessional rate of Central Sales Tax admissible toResearch and Educational Institutions on purchase of scientific-instruments/ equipments, etc, fromcertain states like Maharashtra, Delhi & West Bengal is applicable to this office.
7. No octroi charges are payable as our Laboratory is outside the Corporation limits. Consignments shouldbe insured against all risks wherever necessary, from warehouse and charges may be claimed in the billas a separate item, supported by vouchers.
8. Stamped, pre-receipted and signed bills must be raised in triplicate & must be either typewritten onprepared in ink with following details: Cost of stores (2) Discount if any (3) Sales Tax (4) Packing &forwarding charges (5) Freight. (6) Insurance charges (7) Excise Duty (if applicable, duly supported bygate pass) (8) Total cost supporting vouchers are essential for items (4) (5) (6) & (7) without which theextra charges are liable to be retrenched from your bills without intimation.
9. Defective material, short supply or wrong supply would not be paid, and these charges would beretrenched from the bill without intimation. Correspondence regarding retrenchment will not beentertained.
10. All damaged/Unapproved goods shall be returned at the supplier's cost & risk, freight to be paid bysupplier & the incidental expenses incurred thereon, if any, shall be recoverable from supplier or fromany of their bills pending.
11. Additional charges like packing, forwarding freight, insurance etc, are liable to be paid only if quoted,accepted and included in our order. Charges not mentioned in the quotation will not be paid.
12. Payment would be effected only after receipt of Stores in good condition at our site, inspection &approval, unless otherwise specified.
13. Whenever installation & commission is envisaged, bills would be paid only after such work is completedsatisfactorily.
14. Printed conditions, if any, contained in or sent along with quotation shall not be binding on us.15. Samples, if any, in respect of items specified, are to be sent & approval before effecting supply16. All the items in the order should ordinarily be supplied at one stretch consignment and the date of
delivery should be strictly addressed to. The competent authority reserves the right to accept delivery inpart or full and to claim liquidated damages at 0.5% of the total value of the stores order for every weekbeyond the due date during which the supply remain unfinished/ delayed. However the entire amountof liquidated damages shall not exceed 10% of the total value of the stores order.
17. Correspondence regarding Balance payment, Sales Tax Certificate, etc., will not be entertained beyondTHREE YEARS from the date of suppliers Invoice.
18. Order is subject to BANGALORE JURISDICTION.19. Also see conditions if any mentioned in the order. In case of any clash between any of the conditions here
with those in the order, the conditions in the order will have precedence.20. E&OE.

MACHINE INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:-
The supplier is requested to provide the necessary information for the installation of themachine with foundation details and drawings and the type of basement including space formaintenance and operation and necessary Levelling pads (height adjustable) It is also requested toprovide the details of electrical & electronics circuit diagrams & operating voltage etc.

Note: Of the above, at least one set each is required to be supplied within one month of the placementof order, and balance with the machine.
TEST AND INSPECTION:-
Standard alignment and cutting test as per VDI DGQ 3441 standards will be performed atmanufacturers works, prior to dispatch, in the presence of NAL's representatives and also at NALafter commissioning of the machine. Laser calibration to be done on all axis. Test charts should besupplied with the machine and the test will be repeated at NAL works, after installation andcommissioning to the satisfaction of NAL. In addition the manufacturer shall have to undertake toprove out the machine performance by satisfactory machining of one or two components of NAL attheir works before dispatch and at NAL after commissioning. The scope of component prove outincludes process planning, NC programming, fabrication of necessary fixtures and associate tooling.
PACKING:-
The packing of each item should be adequately sturdy to avoid any damage while handling andduring transit. The packing should also protect the equipment from any prolonged exposure to hostileenvironment.
TRAINING:-
Extended training for our operators and engineers in programming, maintenance and operationis required to be provided by the manufacturer. The training should also include those portions of thepackage, which are bought out for the machine tool supplier (such as control system, Work piecemeasuring Probe, etc.,).
The training should be free of cost (include travel! boarding! lodging/ if part of the training isaway at vendor's place). The training programmeof the above personnel should coincidewith theprove out of the components at the supplier's works.
ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING:-
Erection will be carried out at NAL by the manufacturer's engineers. Manufacturer's engineerwill be required to commission the machine and undertake test/trial machining as contracted. Themachine will be accepted after satisfactory commissioning, tests and prove out.

WARRANTY:-
The Machine tool and the Control System and all other deliverables like Motors, the drives,and the optional accessories etc supplied along with the machine shall carry a minimum warrantyperiod of 2 Years from the date of commissioning and acceptance the supplier have produce thewarranty certificate for all the items. The supplier should ensure continued supply of spares throughthe useful life of the machine.
AFTER SALES SERVICE:-
During the warranty period of the above equipment under the scope of supply, the firm shallundertake the maintenance of mechanical system and controls of the machine to ensure trouble freeoperation of the complete system. The spares those under the scope of supply, if any required forrectification of faults during this period, shall be procured by the firm and rectified free of charge.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Inspection: The machine will be inspected by NAL representative at manufacture's sHe
prior to dispatch of the machine. Sufficient advance notice may be given to us to attend
the important geometrical accuracies of the machine.
2. Spare support: The firm will provide support for the machine and control system for a
period of I0 Years in respect of spares and accessories without any problem as assured
by them.
3. Erection and commissioning: Erection will be carried out at NAL by the manufacturer's
engineers. Manufacturer's engineer will be required to commission the machine a".'ld
undertake test/trial machining as contracted. The machine will be accepted only after
satisfactory commissio~ng, testing and prove out.
4. Training: Training will be imparted at manufacture's site for a minimum of Seven
working days for Four NAL representatives at vendor's cost which includes traveling,
boarding and lodging also.
5. Warranty: The machine and the control system and other deliverables like motors,
drivers, linear scales etc supplied along with the machine shall be warranted for a period
of 24 months from the date of commissioning and acceptance of the machine.
6. Post Warranty: Post warranty service should be made available through your
decentralized service centre at your Bangalore Head Office.
